Beliefs

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It was written by human authors under the divine guidance of the Holy Spirit and serves as the ultimate standard for faith and life. The Scriptures reveal God’s character, His plan of redemption through Jesus Christ, and His will for all people. We affirm that the Bible is complete and trustworthy, relevant in every generation, and sufficient to equip believers for every good work.

The Nature of GOd

We believe in one true and living God, eternal and all-powerful, who exists in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—coequal and coeternal. God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, perfectly holy, just, loving, and merciful. He is sovereign over all creation, actively working to redeem and restore His people through His divine plan. God's nature is revealed most fully in the person of Jesus Christ and through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

The Nature of Man

We believe that humanity was created by God in His image—designed for relationship with Him and entrusted with stewardship over creation. Though created good and upright, every person eventually chooses sin and falls short of God’s glory. Sin separates us from God and brings brokenness into every area of life. Yet, because of God's love and grace, every person has the potential to be restored through faith in Jesus Christ.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace, made possible through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is offered to all people and received by faith, expressed in: repentance, confession & baptism. Salvation is not earned by good works but is the result of God's mercy and the believer’s response to the gospel. Through salvation, we are forgiven of sin, reconciled to God, filled with the Holy Spirit, and given the hope of eternal life.

Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ on earth, made up of all believers who have been redeemed by His blood. It was established by Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit to carry out God’s mission in the world. The Church exists to worship God, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, serve others, and live in community. We affirm the importance of the local church as a gathering of believers who are committed to teaching, fellowship, prayer, and the breaking of bread.

Marriage

We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God and rooted in creation. It is a lifelong union between one man and one woman, intended to reflect Christ’s love for the Church. Marriage provides the foundation for family, offers companionship, and serves as the proper context for sexual intimacy. Within this covenant, husband and wife are called to mutual love, respect, and faithfulness. We affirm that God’s design for marriage is good and holy, and we uphold it as the standard for human relationships and family life.
